The rocky Santa Catalina Island is accessed by boat, has a north side with walking trails and wildlife, whilst the south side has the beach and casino. A range of Helicopter and Bus tour options are available if you want to take a day visit to the awesome Grand Canyon, and Hoover Dam...a good opportunity whilst you are so near.

The Getty Centre ....why not arrive by driverless train. The Building is imposing with its cutting edge Architecture and extensive collection of American and European Art. Set in beautiful gardens which reflect the seasons, with the added attraction of breathtaking city views , particularly at sunset. Griffin Observatory, is an Art Deco landmark set in extensive Parkland with a range of trails to hike, whilst you soak up the extensive city views. The Huntingdon has a Library of rare books and manuscripts, with an Art Museum which has a collection of 18c European and American Art. All nestled in 120 acres of botanical gardens, it’s beauty landscaped into a range of themes and plantings. The Broad building is another iconic structure which brims with Contemporary Art....Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman and Andy Warhol to name but a few of the artists on display. Take time to wander.
